This newly purchased bungalow, though in the perfect location for our golf loving client, needed vision to see past it’s dated interior. A new, stylish kitchen was first priority after moving in and with a large picture window looking over the secluded, mature garden a breakfast bar was high on the client’s wishlist. Using Stiffkey Blue from Farrow and Ball, a rich, warm navy, for all the base cabinets gave real depth to this modest sized kitchen, whilst the wall cabinets and tall housing units, painted in Little Greene Paint Company Shirting, maximised the amount of light, the colours reflecting the beautiful blue green foliage of the spruce trees outside. A crisp, white marble quartz worktop and matching white undermount Silgranit sink reflect the light from the three windows whilst the greyish oak flooring adds a touch of warmth. Adding a designer touch, and beautifully crafted, are the gorgeous polished nickel handles with matching backplates, the colour being picked up with the matching nickel tap from Perrin and Rowe. The tiny breakfast bar area, with built under oak wine rack, offers the perfect place for a quick cuppa or a spot of lunch, whilst enjoying the view over the lovely garden beyond.
