GUIDE PRICE: Kitchen £19k+

The owners of this cute, tiny house in a sought after area of the city love it’s original features and it’s interesting history. When it was time to update the kitchen they wanted to retain the cottagey feel of the property whilst creating a beautiful, functional working kitchen for their young family. Introducing a soft colour palette, natural oak and a pale limestone floor, along with warm brass accent details kept the space open and airy with a welcoming feel. The walls, wall cabinets, full height larder and fridge freezer cabinet were all painted in Myland St Martins 37 to match the range cooker and to avoid the taller cupboards dominating this small space. The pale muted green Zoffany Double Ice Floes used on the base cabinets matches the hand finished metro tiles of the splashback. Oak open shelving reflects the oak worktops used throughout and adds warmth. Adding pretty little brass hanging lights either side of the cooker hood adds a lovely detail and works well with the feature spotlights in the ceiling creating ambient lighting.
